This course's greens are exceptionally well maintained. The signature hole is #11, a 125-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a peninsula green. The fairways are in excellent shape and typically level. Even though the trees are newly planted, they can still alter your shots.

The Cassville Golf Club will offer all classifications of golfers a challenge. You will find short par 4's with doglegs and you will find long par 5's that even long hitters will have trouble reaching in two strokes. There are several par 4's that require long straight drives and accurate and well planned approaches. Number 11 is a challenge. A straight shot is a must. Anything left or right will land in hazard or water. Play the front side well because you will need it for the back nine. Enjoy.

Meadow Woods Golf Club
"Meadow Woods"
Meadow Woods is a nice course, althought not the best I have ever played on. The fairways are narrow due to the fact that it is located in a small neighborhood. The Par 4 13th should be pretty much played as a par 5 unless you can hit the long ball really well, or like to loose some balls. The fairways were also pretty dry as was the rest of the course. Fast greens make even the easy puts challenging.

Shenandoah Country Club
"Fun little course"
Shenandoah is where I learned to play, and it was great for that purpose. The fairways are somewhat narrow, but that kept me more focused on where to put the shot. The club is in the process of improving the course--drainage has been an issue--and it should reallly be nice in the spring.

La Paloma Country Club - Canyon/Hill Course
"Tough Nicklaus course in beautiful resort setting"
La Paloma golf course (any of the comibinations) is as tough a test of golf as you will ever have. If your game is not on, it will be a long, long day. Course condition is great and is set in one of the nicest resorts you will ever see. Amenities are first cabin all the way (enjoy a great lunch on the patio following your round). Staff is cordial and helpful. Forecaddies required of all groups help keep play moving and they truly earn their money. One of the nicest golfing experiences I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy -- if you can -- I urge you to play La Paloma.
