Meadow Ponds Golf Course
Route 7 WCassville, WV 26527
Phone: (304)328-5570
This course has water hazards (ten ponds) coming into play on eleven holes. The terrain is fairly hilly, so you can expect some uneven lies. Some of the fairways are tree lined and all of them are bordered by a standard cut of rough. The signature hole is #2, a par 5, requiring a tee shot over water. The average-sized greens are undulating and somewhat fast.

| If you like to throw your money away, come to play Meadow Ponds. The fairways are all dead, But for some reason they continue to keep mowing them. The staff is about as friendly as the grumpy door greeters at Wall-Mart. 35.00 dollars to play this very short and dried up course. They have a sprinkler system but refuse to use it. Hoping Mother nature will help them keep there cost down. There is no dress code so if you like wearing gym shorts with a sleeveless shirt, then this the course for you. Tee times, well lets just say if you get one cancel it and just walk in.They will put you in front of the guys with a tee time. The ranger is a 78 year old guy who drives around and picks your ball up before it even stops rolling. So do not hit until he drives by. |

| this course has everything but a bunker, i really enjoy playing here. not a good course for walking though, unless you're into a good work-out. playable fairways are usually tight. the no#2 hole has two ponds that you must cross when playing from the blue tee box, this hole can be costly. i find the narrow fairways, course grade, tree placement and many ponds not only beautiful but challenging. the staff is friendly and helpfull. |
