Area golfs best kept secret, Jul 31, 2009

First time today (7-31-09) following brief rain, the course was very playable. Tees are plush and the greens are great.Don't look for any flat greens here. The meandering stream and well placed ponds can add strokes to your score very quickly. Not many trees on the course but those that are there can cause problems if your not accurate. All in all a fun course to play and reasonable rates for walkers or riders. Can't be that good, can it?, May 01, 2009

My friend Bill claims to be the Club Champion of Caughdenoy, winning in 2008. Although, I have not played this course I wonder just how difficult it can be. I have played a lot of golf with Bill over the years, and I have never seen him break 90. How tough can it really be? I plan to get out there someday and check it out.
