Solid course, Jul 23, 2005

This course is really nice fairways are well kept. The greens were fast today and really tricky if you want to do good here take your time scope out the green, the lye of the ball can fool you. If I could change something it would be the dress code love a comfy tee shirt on a hot summer day. If you like it here try brookeside in gowen also, both courses are fun, beautiful and give a challenge.

One of the best and most challenging courses I have ever played but it could be made easier by playing from the front tees which many of my friends do.

Cedar Chase, worthy of a second look, May 18, 2004
reviewer: Greg Rogers from Grand Rapids, MI
Despite some poorly manicured bunkers, Cedar Chase is a good course, with plenty of length for the long hitters, and forgiveness with short tees that accomodate the leagues and seniors. Beautiful layout, no development, (no condos, houses, etc.)and plenty of woods to make you feel like your the only group there (we teed off at noon, played 18 in 3 1/2 hrs, saw nobody till the 18th). It seems like it should get more play, since the price is very right. Some of the holes are tight (like 11, and 12) and some are long (17 is a par 3, 206 from the blues). But you'll use all of your clubs, and the greens are fair and improving yearly, and the're pretty good now, albeit slow. Can't beat the price for the golf.
