This course was designed to play alongside the Grand Lake Saint Mary. The lake comes into play on a couple of holes. The terrain is flat, but water hazards come into play a total of seven times. The tree-lined fairways are open, and the greens are medium in size and speed. According to locals, this serene course is extremely scenic.

| HOLE #5 IS BY FAR THE SIGNITURE HOLE ON THE COURSE A PAR 5 THAT RUNS ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF THE LAKE HAS A SPECTACULAR VIEW. ONLY RECENTLY BEING LENGTHENED TO A PAR 5, KEEP THE BALL DRY A YOU'LL BEING PUTTING FOR BIRDIE. GREEN FEES VERY AFFORDABLE AT UNDER 30$ FOR 18 INCLUDING A CART |

| This was the experience of a life time. If you want to experience golf at it greatest this is the place you want to be. I think it is not only be best course in Mercer County, but quite possibly the best in Ohio. It is probably the best in all of America. I would not be suprised to see a PGA tour event held here in the near future. On a scale of 1 to 10 this course is an 11. Go there and you will not regret it. It is a challenge yet you will havea an excellent time. The Foxes Den is very comparable but it doesn't hold a candle to it in terms of niceness. |
