CCC isn't a long course, but if you enjoy the challenge of narrow, tree-lined fairways you'll have fun. Some recent renovations (contouring, bunkers, removal of trees) have added to CCC playability. Tucked into the heart of Champaign, Illinois, this course offers a nice challenge to good golfers without beating up less experienced ones.

I went and played a round of golf at the Hilltop Country Club last week for the first time. It was an expereince,the course is set up real cool. I was a high school golfer who would have loved to get out of school and walk to go play golf rather than riding 30 minutes on a bus to and from practice everyday. The course is on the grounds of Troup ISD.And after I got finished playing golf I walked to the 19th and had a cold budlight.The bar has what ever you want,and the ladies were so nice.

"interesting course"
The greens are well kept and very fast at times. Many are sloped and undulated which makes putting difficult at times. The course is pretty open but has a nice layout.
