This course has a wooded, isolated back nine which is tight, but not difficult. The course is very well-maintained. The fairways are narrow and tree-lined on the back nine and rather open on the front nine. There are ponds that come into play on holes #1, 3, 8 and another pond comes into play on holes #12, and #14. The greens on the front nine are of medium size and on the back nine they are a little bigger.

| This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. Quick and true greens were very well maintained (How did they attract such a talented Superintendent). Very challenging holes that do not duplicate themselves. Laid back atmosphere--no pressures! |
