This course can be challenging because water hazards come into play on five holes, and sand bunkers come into play on the rest of the holes. Some of the greens are undulating, but all of the greens are sloped. The course features some really imaginative mounding that can cause uneven lies.

Knob Hill Golf Course
"One of the better ones around"
Nicely maintained, well conditioned course. A little short from the whites, and perhaps a little long from the championship tees for the average golfer. Water comes into play on many holes, as does out of bounds. Greens are medium sized and fairly flat, but several have devilish breaks. Holes seven and eight can make or break your round, and when playing into the wind, the eighteenth is as tough a finishing hole as there is in the area. There has been talk about going private for several years, but it appears as if it will happen sometime in 2004, so if you have the opportunity to play, do it soon!!

A great north-west Ind. course. Just off of Rt. 41.Reasonably priced-senior discounts-early bird specials-as well as yearly membership rates.-Has a great practice range and putting area. Hickory Sticks is an unearthed gem. The condition of the course is near perfect. Because of the location (hidden but only 15 min. from I-275) makes this a logical place to play a quick undisturbed round.
