Wildwood Municipal Golf Course3rd & S Iowa St
Charles City, IA 50616
This is a shotmaker's course with several mature oak trees lining the fairways, and a meandering creek that comes into play. During World War II, the clubhouse served as a German prisoner of war barracks. The prisoners built many large stone walls and stone bridges by the clubhouse and on the course. Charles Calhoun redesigned the course in 1976.

|I love this course, I grew up golfing it with my grandmother. It's a challenging course with many hills and obstacle shots that require the right finesse to play them well.|
