The greens on this course are somewhat undulating. The fairways on the front nine are generous and rolling, though much smaller and tighter on the back nine. Marshlands come into play on seven of the nine holes as well. The clubhouse overlooks a lake, which does not come into play on the course.

Great value, beuatiful course, Sep 29, 2004

Pierce Lake is a great value and a very attractive course. It can be challenging if you do not plan your game and hit the ball where you intend. And a high-handicapper can lose several balls in the wetlands and woods. But the overall quality of the maintenance and the attractive wooded semi-rural setting with lots of wildlife (we saw a red-tail hawk today, and often see several whitetail deer along the fairways) make it a great value.

Great course - great value, Apr 23, 2004

Nice course, great staff, good prices -- it's tough to beat. The front nine is more rolling/hilly/open, and the back narrows down to some woods/wetlands golf. Not unusual to see deer, Sandhill cranes and other wildlife. Convenient to I-94. Watch for the p. ivy in the woods!

Don't let the cheap price fool you, this course is for real. It's as cheap a golf course as you'll find in the area, but its quality is unmatched. The course is in great condition, and the greens roll very well.
