This course was built on rolling hills, so you can expect many uneven lies. The fairways are tree lined, and the sand bunkers are well placed throughout the course. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The greens vary in size and speed. The most difficult holes on this course are #8, 12, and 16.

Horrible, Sep 07, 2006

At one time Orchard Hills was a good, solid course. It was well maintained and fairly priced. This year, however, the fairways are GONE. I mean no grass. You couldn't even call it a cow pasture because the cows would starve. It is in the most ragged and deplorable shape imaginable. Adding insult to injury, there is no drinking water to be found anywhere on the course. I only gave it a 1 Star rating because a negative rating wasn't available. Too bad.

Golfable Golf Quote of the Day:
" The sport of choice for the urban poor is basketball. The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is bowling. The sport of choice for front-line workers is football. The sport of choice for supervisors is baseball. The sport of choice for middle management is tennis. The sport of choice for corporate officers is golf. Conclusion: The higher you are in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become. -- Author Unknown "
