This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses are all very long and will challenge even the most experienced golfer. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, and many mature trees can alter your shots if you don't hit accurate tee shots. "Golf Digest" rated the original Lake/Marsh Course as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 9th best for 1997-98.

| Sand Creek is the finest modern course in NW Indiana. It is private, so you will need your club reciprocal to play, or know a member. It is challenging, and any combination of the 3 nine-hole courses will require that you utilize every club in your bag. It's long with well marked yardages. The greens are generally large, but not oversized. They putt true. Many hazards abound in the form of water, sand, waste area, mature trees, and deep rough leading to woody brush. You must hit the fairways in order to score. Cart paths throughout the course, along with professional treatment of the tee boxes and greens are the hallmark of a finely manicured track. One of the most professional practice areas you have seen. Leave time to warm up in a truly unequalled practice facility. The clubhouse is new and expansive, with top shelf dining facilities. Unique interest on every hole. Make it a destination on your next golf trip to the area. |
