This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses are all very long and will challenge even the most experienced golfer. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, and many mature trees can alter your shots if you don't hit accurate tee shots. "Golf Digest" rated the original Lake/Marsh Course as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 9th best for 1997-98.

Sand Creek is the finest modern course in NW Indiana. It is private, so you will need your club reciprocal to play, or know a member. It is challenging, and any combination of the 3 nine-hole courses will require that you utilize every club in your bag. It's long with well marked yardages. The greens are generally large, but not oversized. They putt true. Many hazards abound in the form of water, sand, waste area, mature trees, and deep rough leading to woody brush. You must hit the fairways in order to score. Cart paths throughout the course, along with professional treatment of the tee boxes and greens are the hallmark of a finely manicured track. One of the most professional practice areas you have seen. Leave time to warm up in a truly unequalled practice facility. The clubhouse is new and expansive, with top shelf dining facilities. Unique interest on every hole. Make it a destination on your next golf trip to the area.

River Plantation Country Club - Augusta/Biloxi Course
"Challenging Layout"
Fun, challenging layout with recently reworked tees and greens. Course conditions a little spotty and a "mud-fest" if there's even a chance of rain. $25 weekday green fee is fair but $50 on weekends is a little out of line with other area courses. Some good money games on most days.

Buffalo Dunes Golf Course
"The Best Pound for Pound"
The dunes is possibly the best course for the money in the entire state! I give the course five stars due to its all around duffer enjoyment. The course itself allows for not just a fun but also a challenging round. The beauty of such a course in such a desolate location is unbelievable, as is the staff. You couldnt ask for a friendlier environment!

"Bring your control game"
Accuracy off the tee is more important than length as the fairways are lined with colorful trees. The small greens are surrounded by well-placed bunkers and then the real fun begins. The greens are fast, unless you have a downhill putt and then they are super-fast. Since the greens are so true, there are plenty of opportunities for one-putts, but also three-putts due to speed and breaks. Relaxed social atmosphere of club makes for a fun day. Pros, lead by Danny Mulhearn, are terrific golfers and teachers.

"Great Course"
Great course, provides a high level of skill. I recommend that everyone come play. The scenery is beautiful with lots of nice houses. The Director of Golf there is great and provides for all the golfer's needs. 5 stars for Greensboro Country Club
