This course is flat and easy to walk. Thirty-two white-sand bunkers are on the course, and ponds come into play at least three times. The signature hole is #5, a 413-yard, par 4, which offers a scenic view overlooking the valley. Greenside and fairway sand bunkers are ever present. Each fairway is well defined by trees, but the landing areas are generous. The treacherous #16 hole, a 361-yard, par 4, requires a tee shot over water, then a long approach shot to a flat green. However, this course's most difficult hole is #9, a 433-yard, par 4, featuring a pond on the left side of the dogleg left fairway, and requiring an approach shot over a huge tree growing in the center of the fairway to the green.
