This tight course is best known for its small greens. Water hazards come into play on several holes, and there are sand bunkers on every hole. Dick Nugent and Ken Killian redesigned this course in 1972.

| Ridge may not be a very long course, its only 6200 from the tips but its tricky. All of the holes are very narrow making accuracy important. Also, most of the greens are tiny and very difficult to hold because they are the fastest greens on the south side of Chicago. The course superintendent, Gary Galecki, deserves a lot of credit because the course is not just in good shape, its immaculate. This course is a treat for any golfer regardless of skill level. |
