Set on 200 acres of beautiful landscape, Legendary Run is a public daily fee golf course that features winding virgin woods, broad meadows, and playing around and over seven lakes. The course also measures almost 7,000 yards from the tips and has four sets of tees to ensures a true golf challenge. Signature hole #1 is hole 5, which is voted one of the toughest holes in Cincinnati. A par 4 that requires a long drive and a long shot to an uphill green. Signautre hole #2 is hole 19. At true 19th hole and a challenging par 3 over water. A free extra hole of golf!!

Nice people, course needs some work, Aug 31, 2007

I agree the folks working at Legendary Run are friendly. The course needs some work. When I played there, the greens had just been punched and top-dressed--in August, during a heat wave and drought! Scoring opportunities were minimal. Fairways were in good shape thanks to the watering done. Tee boxes and approach area were chewed up. This course, like many other public courses, seems to be played by those who believe that replacing divots is beneath them. (Please: replace your divots, fix your pitch marks on the greens, and use your sand bottles to fill holes). I would return to this course, and hope that if/when I do, the greens will be in better shape.

I believe that Legendary Run is the best public golf course in Cincinnati. Every hole is different and its 19th hole is unique. It has a great driving range with a large grass teeing area. The service is super friendly and the food is extremely good. I strongly recommend Legendary Run to anyone playing golf in the Cincinnati Area.

"1 goofy hole"
I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.

"Good course, has all the basics, soon to be a hidden jewel"
I played here twice so far. The fairways were in pretty good shape. They recently hired a new superintendent from Charlotte National (Dino) who produces some of the best greens in Charlotte. With a little time, he will have those greens rolling right. He has already started re-doing all the bunkers. Some walks from green to the next tee would be impossible to make. It has some beautiful holes. Most bunkers did not have enough sand in them, but they're being re-worked now with some getting all new drainage and sand and some being filled in as grass bunkers. This will make it a fairer course.
