This course was built on hilly terrain, so expect many uneven lies. The small greens are severely sloped and easy to three putt. The course design features three par 5's, three par 4's, and three par 3's. A creek flows through five holes, plus numerous sand bunkers come into play on some fairways but mainly around the greens. Locals claim that hole #2, a 464-yard, par 4, is one of the most difficult holes in the Cincinnati area. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Every hole a challenge, Feb 15, 2005
reviewer: Bill from Wyoming, OH
While this course is not too tight, every hole presents a new challenge. The first, a relatively short par 5, plays uphill and normally into prevailing winds. The green sits on a plateau and is easy to miss short or right. The second, the hardest hole on the course is a long par 4 fronted by a creek. The sort par3 3rd requires a good tee shot, and it is easy to go long on your approach to this tiny green. 4 and 5 play uphill all the way and into the wind. 6 is a short downhill par 3, 7 a long uphill par three to a blind green. * a long par 5 fronted by a creek and 9 is a short par3 over a creek.

Keep your ball below the hole, Apr 02, 2004
reviewer: Mark from Cincinnati, Ohio
If you do not know how to putt on fast, sloping greens, you will struggle at this gem. The course is just 9 holes, with two or more sets of tee boxes for each hole. With the slope of the terrain, the course plays longer than on the scorecard. With just 160 full members, Wyoming is a track most members can play at any time, which is a big plus. There are a number of very respectable players at the club, and they know the quirks. The best part of Wyomnig Golf Club is the friendly atmosphere and the outgoing Pro/Manager and his assistant.
