This course has a lot of character and was built in a pecan grove. The fairways are generous, and there are out-of-bounds stakes lining many holes. The greens are small and relatively flat, and the terrain is rolling to hilly. Water hazards (a pond and a creek) comes into play on three holes. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

| Gordon Golf Course is po-dunk, little hole in the wall of a golf course. It only consists of 9 holes and isn't much of a challenge. The staff at Gordon has voluntarily allowed the local school golf class to have unlimited free play. this is a great contribution to further the youth's knowledge of the great sport of golf. The course staff is very generous and even though they have to maintain the course and don't get much business anyway, they have still have found a way to give back to the local community. |
