Nice course, greens are sloped but very playable. Staff is great and you can't find a better value for the price.

worst greens i've ever played, May 05, 2004

the greens are on too much of a tilt. If you drop a ball straight down on the green there is a rule that says how far it should roll...At clarion you can miss a two footer and end up with a 30 footer. Level out the greens a little and maybe i'd consider it a golf course!!!! And don't act like i'm not a good golfer becasue i have a 2 handicap and recently shot a 76 at Clarion...but i still feel strongly about the greens!!!!!!!!they are horrible

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

Woodcrest Country Club
"Woodcrest Country Club"
Woodcrest Country Club is not a long hitters course, but rather accuracy is rewarded. Woodcrest is famous for its rough, so keeping it in the Fairway is the play. Greens are smaller than the nouveau courses, but not the undulating and overly tricky type either. My friends who are low handicappers tell me that the course is tough but fair, and conservative play is best. Higher handicappers like me know the value of course management here.

Course at Westland, The
"Nice course"
The course at Westland is a nice course but some of the holes are right on the interstate and that can be a nusense. Otherwise the course is well kept and can be a great place to play if the conditions are right. Now i have only played there about 6 times and i have gone on the best days and the worst days, the course held up on the rainy days and was indcredible on the beutiful of days. I highly recomend to go to the cours at Westland if your ever in jacksonville. diddn't think i was 13 when ya read it did ya??
