This course has enough variety of terrain to challenge any level of golfer. The terrain varies from flat to hilly, and the fairways vary in width. Numerous trees can alter your shots, and water hazards come into play on most holes. The signature hole is #12, a 439-yard, par 4, because it plays uphill, then back downhill to the green. The ladies par is actually 74.

Emerald Lakes Golf Center
"The nicest 9 hole around"
Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

"Kept in great shape"
The Greeley country club plays difficult because of all the tree's this course has. The Greeley country club is a very kept up course that can be a challenging for any golfer.

according to an article in The Bradenton Herald the golf course has been sold and will be developed into 542 new homes.This is sad because it was the only walkable golf course in Manatee County. It will be missed.
