At 10:45 am they ran out of carts and had to wait an hour. Poor shape and not maintained. Not a challenging course for the price.

The course offers a challenging 72-par round with wide fairways with water, trees and bunkers sprinkled about to make you think about your shot. For a semi-private course, it is well maintained and conviently located 10-minutes away from Clearwater Beach and 30-minutes from Tampa Airport. After the round there is a full bar and grill room that offers great food and drink.

Don't count the traps at Quail Hollow you might find yourself in one of them. And here is how to putt there Read the break divide by two hit it hard! Also... if you can see the 150 "markers"- leave your driver in the bag. It's narrow fairways will reach out and grab ya.

Shady Oaks Country Club
"Deceptive Shady Oaks"
The course is well managed, and has few unplayable issues. Sloping fairways, and tree lined holes had to the charm. Although the course plays short, it holds interest through a creative layout, and natural hazards. Overall it is a great course for the tiny fee, and the assistance in the club house is very down to earth. The surrounding area is breath taking as well, which also adds to the experience.
