This scenic course received a four star rating from "Golf Digest." It is located on one of the highest points in central Florida. The terrain is very hilly, so carts are mandatory. The tree-lined fairways are narrow, the fast greens are undulating, and lakes come into play on ten holes. The course's signature hole is #16, a 387-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over a lake to an undulating green.

| The course was a nice layout but the fairways were hard and lacked grass, lots of weeds mowed. The greens were interesting, some very unusual pin placements when I played making the putting very interesting. I played as a two sum and it took almost three hours to complete the front side, we called it a day as we approached the 11th tee box due to very slow play and following 2 groups of 5 sums. I did not get a chance to see the last 8 holes. |
