This course has narrow fairways, and its greens are difficult to read. There are several mature oak trees lining the fairways. A water hazard comes into play on just one hole, #12, a 163-yard, par 3, but you'd have to really mis-hit the ball to find the water down the left side.

Great Course. Long enough to challenge and tricky enough to make you work. Greens are fantastic and fast. Very true putting yet quirky enough. Amenities are adequate but not great.

Hyde Park Golf Club
"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.

Unicorn GC in Stoneham MA, is a quality course for the weekend golfer as well as Low Handicapper. Rolling fairways and some hills provides the best blend of fun and challenge to all levels of golfers. I would highly recommend a day at Unicorn.

Rancho Canada Golf Club - East Course
"Rancho Canada East Course"
I had the pleasure to play both Rancho Canada East and West courses many times during the past years. The east course is shorter, tighter, lots of trees, and just an enjoyable course to play. Added to the nice course -- the green fees are within reason, clubhouse is very nice, good pro shop, and attentive. Just a very good experience on a course that gets a lot of play but is still in good shape and fun.
