This club has an eighteen hole course and a nine hole par 3 course. The Eighteen Hole Course mainly plays through a valley, but there are some rolling hills which can cause uneven lies. Many of the tee boxes and greens are elevated. Water hazards (ponds and a meandering creek) come into play on twelve holes. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 3rd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The Par Three Course is excellent for working on your short game. The scorecard for the Par Three Course doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.

VERY NICE COURSE FOR THE $$.THE GREENS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.SOME FAIRWAYS ARE TIGHT AND TREE LINED.THE COURSE IS MORE DIFFICULT THAN THE RATING OF 113(MORE LIKE A 125 TO 127 FROM THE BACK TEES).IT CAN USE A FEW MORE SAND TRAPS,BUT THERE ARE ENOUGH TREES AND WATER TO KEEP YOU HONEST.

Country Club at Castle Pines
"Best in Colorado"
This course matches with any in difficulty from the tips. It is awesome to play and has many great golf holes. From th regular men's tee it is a terrific course as well. Fairways can be tight so high handicappers may find the course tougher and not as enjoyable as some. But, hey, with the views (best in the country for a mountain course) everyone will love this track. I have guests from all over the country play this course and rave.

Westport Country Club, The
"Adirondack gem."
My favorite layout in the Adirondacks, a course you can play 100's of times and never tire of. After a difficult first hole you are presented with good scoring opportunities on the front. Holes 10 thru 13 are as tough as they come and as scenic, they stick in the minds of golfers at every level. Take time to chat (or have a lesson) with John Hall, PGA pro and managing partner, I guarantee he'll be friends with at least one pro from your area.
