This course has wide open fairways that are lined with pine trees. The greens are fast when the weather is dry, and they range from very flat to slightly sloped. Two greens are also elevated. Water comes into play on two holes, #3, a 470-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over a pond, and #6, a 170-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a creek.

Great Place for a Quick, Enjoyable Nine, May 25, 2004

Marada is a very nice, well-maintained 9-hole course. The greens are usually in exceptional shape and the staff are helpful and very friendly. If you are looking for a place to play a quick nine and you live near the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, Marada is a wonderful choice. Holes #3 and #5 (the first a par 4 requiring a tee shot over water and the second an uphill par 5, I believe) are good, solid holes. The course is seldom too crowded to finish a round in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend it enthusiastically.
