This course has fairways that are lined with huge boulders and mature trees. Water hazards come into play at least three times. The course is known by locals as the "Little Pebble Beach." The club pro suggests that you bring more balls then usual. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Guests must be accompanied by a member in order to play the course.

Emerald Lakes Golf Center
"The nicest 9 hole around"
Emerald Lakes is a fun little course that provides the basic golf experiance to the younger golfers in the Elk Grove area. The course has many hazards, including hole 5 which is as good as an island hole as you could get at any 9 hole course. The Course tends to be real hard in the summer and extremely wet during the winter. Give the grass at least 3 or 4 days to soak up water after a hard rain or you'll be chipping out of the mud on most holes. Overall, the course provides just enough amusement to keep the low end golfers happy, while aslo providing a great practice facility including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The bottom line, this is the best 9 hole course in the Elk Grove Area.

Wicker Park Golf Course
"Great place to go have fun!"
This course is a fun and challenging course. I gave it 4 stars because no course is perfect. The only problem with this course is there is a lot of trees which means there are usually a lot of leaves on the ground, especially in the fall. You also have to think about the trees themselfs, because no matter what everybody tells you, trees are NOT 90% air.

"Totally worth it!"
For the price they ask, it's totally worth it! It's a great course! There may not be that many trees, but I noticed a few projects that looked like they were working on it, and there is still plenty of beauty surrounding it. Water hazards made it challenging, but all the more fun. Very well kept! The maintenance crew must work hard!
