This course's irrigated greens are average speed. The fairways are hilly but relatively wide open, however, there are a few trees that can alter your shots. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and sand bunkers have also been incorporated into the course's design. The green fees shown are good for all-day play.

Nice greens, Oct 16, 2006

I give this course three stars just because of the greens. If you do not putt well these greens will burn you. The overall layout is nothing special and the general condition leaves a little to be desired. The greens make up for all of that.

Carroll Park Golf Course

This is a decent golf course and for the money you cant beat it. The grass is alright and the greens may vary and there are water filled bumps with some small holes. The main problem is location but besides that it is a nice course.

Rams Hill Country Club
"Rams Hill Course Outstanding"
This course plays extremely well. Not only is this a beautiful course in every sense of the word, it is set in a most unique place - completely surrounded by the Anza Borrego Desert State Park (nation's largest state park). Two of my favorite holes on the course are the 14th and 18th. Both Fairways provide a challenge with a view. All and all a very nice experience. The Country Club also provides excellent vacation rental opportunities during the golfing experience at www.ramshill.org So get yourself out to Rams Hill - you won't want to leave.
