This facility was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts." The resort is famous for its floating green on hole #14. This green can be moved towards the tee or farther away and is changed on a daily basis. The average distance from the back tee is 154 yards. After hitting your tee shot, you'll need to be ferried out to the green. The course has a four-caddie program. A caddie accompanies each foursome to assist in distances, clubs, etc. The fee for the caddie, except for a tip, is part of the green fee. Other course features consist of water hazards, par 3's where you tee off from elevated tees, and great scenery. For warming up prior to your game, there is an aquatic driving range. In 1992, the course was the site of the Merrill Lynch Shootout. "Golf Digest" rated this course the "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996 and they also ranked it 34th among the "Top 75 Upscale Courses" for the same year. The same publication rated it the "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" selected this course 55th best under the 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." Anyone staying at the resort can reserve a tee time up to a year in advance.

| This might be the best kept course outside of Augusta. The staff are supportive. It is a trip my friends and I will continue to make. First Class all the way.... |
