This old, links-style course was built on an island. The small greens are fast, and the fairways vary in width. When the course was originally founded over 100 years ago, it only had two holes. The course as it exists today was built in 1925. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

| Not a fancy club but lots of fun. The course is in great shape with many improvements over the past 2 years including a new watering system. Greens are small to medium, fast and true. Tees and fairways are in great shape, other than a need to improve drainage in a few select areas. Enjoyable course to walk with sceanic views of the River and sorrounding area from many holes. Views can be obscured on some tees depending on Tee box positions for the day. Reasonable rate for a private course. Small membership provides plenty of access to the course with free range balls to keep your game sharp. Never a problem getting out. The membership and staff are very friendly. |
