This course was built on hilly terrain, so expect many uneven lies. The greens are so small, they are said to be "postage stamp" size. Water hazards (lakes, ponds and creeks) come into play on a number of holes. The signature hole is #3, a par 4, requiring an approach shot to an elevated and undulating green.

This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

LCC is a beautiful course with low green fees, and I have been a member for the last two years. There are challenging holes on the course and with the high altitude one can reach the greens in two or three shots.

For a fast round of 9-holes this course is very enjoyable, and actually quite challenging. The greens are all in good condition throught the year, and so are the fairways. Par 3's range from 90-yards to 205-yards, and the par 4s are long enough where you can hit driver and/or 3-wood. Wonderful practice putting green surrounding water and driving range is also nice. For the price and convenience of walking on without a long wait, it's a winner in my book.
