This is a typical southern links-style course. It has fairly open fairways, and the greens are severely undulating. Every hole has mounds lining the sides of the fairways and are bordered by knee-high, fescue grass rough. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The signature hole is #8, a 508-yard, par 5, featuring a creek that flows up the middle of the fairway from tee to green and several scenic waterfalls. Due to the private nature of this course, guest rates are not available for publication.

Grand Beach Golf Course

This used to be a great starter course, but it is way over priced for 9 holes. For 18 holes on a weekend it approaches $35. It is trying to be something it isn't. Used to play there all the time. Do not go there any more.

Ramsey Golf Club
"Good Challenge"
Although Ramsey might not be in the best shape it is still a very challenging course with a tough layout. You can find yourself in trouble of pretty much every hole on the course if you don't hit it straight or know how to shape your ball. Take advantage of the easy start Holes #1 and #2 provide as the rest of the front can be a major challenge. The back 9 can be long but there isn't as much trouble.
