This course was built on flat terrain and has very narrow fairways. Water hazards (one large lake and some streams) come into play on five holes. The signature hole is #18, a 176-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot over water. In addition, there is a great view of the clubhouse from off this hole. John LaFoy redesigned the course in 1991.

Very Nice Club, Oct 13, 2004

This is a very nice club that has a good golf course. The course isn't a championship layout but kept in good condition. Many of the holes are fairly narrow, but the course is fairly short in length. Nice private club atmosphere with a beautiful private lake for the members and waterfront homes.

"1 goofy hole"
I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.

Indian Creek Golf Course - Red Feather/Blackbird Course
"Enjoy"
The course is well maintained and the greens are fast and contoured. The back tees play over 7,000 yards long. Green fees are a little pricey. Red Feather and Blackbird are far more difficult than Grey Hawk. Grey Hawk is shorter and more forgiving. Blackbird is very long and the topography is hilly. Red Feather is the flattest of the 3 nines, but it is very tight and water does come into play. Most greens have lots of roll to them and require well placed shots in order to score well. The course was enjoyable to play.
