This somewhat flat course features a lot of trees that can alter your shots and a few dogleg fairways. Water hazards (a lake and several creeks) come into play on at least five different occasions. The greens are fairly flat, and the course only features a few greenside bunkers. The most difficult hole is #16, a 395-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway, then an approach shot over a creek to a green with an additional water hazard protecting its left side.

| compared to the courses around here, this one can suck up the water and let you enjoy a dry round of golf after the wet spring we have had so far. |

Two different nines, Feb 29, 2004 |

| The front nine is relatively open with only the 5th and 6th holes presenting a challenge for longer hitters with a creek running about 270 and 250 yards out from the tee boxes. The back nine however is much tighter and the over-grown trees on holes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 have taken ownership of the holes. You must play it straigt to shoot well. Greens are excellent all year round, super fast and touchy. |

Truest Greens Anywhere, Feb 12, 2004 |

| The greens at creekwood are the truest, most consistent of any in the area. Despite the relative shortness of the course, position is critical. You cannot "muscle" this course into submission. The staff is friendly and efficient and keeps play moving. Plenty of practice area. |
