This course's style is considered to be a combination of Pine Valley and Pinehurst #2. The design includes greens that vary in undulation, and there are three lakes and a stream that come into play. Red sand bunkers and European sod bunkers offer golfers many challenges throughout the course. Mature trees surround some holes and others are wide open. A delightful hole is #11, a 198-yard, par 3, featuring a spacious green that lies well below the tee box on the far side of a pretty pond. Bold fescue-cloaked mounds snare the unintended push, and the backdrop for the hole is woodlands. Wildlife that may be seen include deer, bobcats, foxes, blue herons and beavers. "Golf Digest" rated it as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1997-98.

Laguna Lake Golf Course
"Not Fancy, But Fun!"
A tricky little course, designed by someone that knew their business. Shots over trees in the middle of the fairway, elevated, tricky (and fast) greens add to the enjoyment of this 9-hole course. Definitely recommended for golfers that like a bit of a challenge on shorter holes. The greens and fairways are in excellent shape, and the overall course is very well maintained. For the price, this course is an unbeatable value.

Oakdale Country Club
"Wow........"
I have a membership at Oakdale and let me tell you, it's worth it. The courses rolling hills and steep inclines make it a tough challenge. The bunkers and the water hazards are also huge barriers to overcome on this course. You can't beat the price either. My membership paid for itself in a matter of weeks and after that I was practically playing for free. I strongly advise anyone that wants an enjoyable round of golf to check out Oakdale Country Club.

"lots of trouble"
A very challenging yet, fun to play course. Offers a variety of different holes and green layouts. A great day of golf for the price. Clubhouse is very nice too, with a very pleasant staff!
