This course was built on rolling terrain, so expect uneven lies. Shot accuracy is essential because many of the and tree-lined fairways are doglegs and the greens are small. Water hazards (a man-made pond and a natural creek) come into play on six holes. The signature hole is #13, a 407-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee down to a fairway that is guarded by woods on the left and water on the right, then an approach shot up to an elevated green. This is one of seven municipal courses in the Columbus area. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. redesigned the course in 1948.

| I played this course in March after a few days of rain and snow so it was a little soft. Overall, however, the course was enjoyable. It is an excellent layout with a friendly staff. The price was great too! The range is a little weak with no markers. Definitely a must play. |
