This club once was a twenty-seven hole facility, but nine holes were later converted into a driving range. The course was closed for reconstruction until summer, 1998. The course was built in a flood plain, so the terrain is basically flat and easy to walk. The greens are mostly small, so shot accuracy is important. Rivers flow through the course and come into play on a few holes. The front nine is shorter than the back nine.

| This is a fun course, but fairways are narrow and frequently bordered by a ball-eating creek. Union Lake golf course is inexpensive and a great place for beginners, just take some balls that you don't mind losing in the creek. The pace is easy, not a lot of traffic and no one is pushing you. |
