This tree-lined course features well-manicured fairways and greens. Water hazards (lakes and ponds) come into play on at least ten holes. Additionally, numerous sand bunkers are incorporated into the course design, making shot accuracy a must. A difficult hole is #15, a 551-yard, par 5, which has water running down the entire right side of the hole.

Of the four state park golf course I have played this one plays the least difficult. That is not intended as a cut down for this is a nice course. It just lacks the defintion of the others that I have played to be called great.
