This club has two difficult eighteen hole courses. Both courses were built on rolling terrain and have water hazards coming into play on a number of holes. Numerous trees line the narrow fairways, and the greens are average-sized. The South Course hosted a PGA Tour event for nineteen years. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 7th best for 1997-98. The South Course is where Al Geiberger shot his famous 59, a PGA record that stood for many years, but one he now shares with Chip Beck and David Duval.

Mohawk Park Golf Course - Pecan Valley Course
"Best Public Golf Course in Tulsa"
Mohawk Golf Course is a nice wooded area about .5 miles away from the Tulsa Zoo, Dont worry it doesnt smell and it isnt that noisy. The only distractions are on the 6,7,8th and holes when you can hear monkeys in the distance, its pretty cool when hear them and you're in a wooded area. There's lots of water, greens are in good shape, rough is fine, very creative par three's, and a good experience. Oh yeah, threres plenty of squirrels and swans roaming the course. If you go during the summer and you get a tee time(around 7 a. m.) in the early morning the fog of the creeks and ponds rise and fairways are misty. If you need tee times go to playtulsa.com(make sure you do google search and type playtulsa.com and then something below will pop up saying If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: playtulsa.com.) click on it and you'll go to the web site. If you are not registered go head and do so then choose Mohawk:Pecan Valley, there you can set tee times, no. of players and so on. You can also choose the other courses like South Lakes, located in Jenks. Page Belcher located 1 mile west of Jenks. LaFortune located between 51st and 61st on Yale Ave. in Tulsa Oklahoma, then also both Mohawk Pecan Valley, and Woodbine. Hope this helps you.

"Course in need of help"
I have played many courses in this area and this course was once at a very high level. Now it has greatly deminished. The fairways are ok at best, and the once prized greens are in lackluster condition. The work that has been done seems to be minimal in areas. This course still is very challenging, but has the potential to be alot greater than it is at this time.

"Nice enjoyable place to play 18 holes"
Muni golf can be a hit or miss proposition to all who love to play the game but lack the resources to join a private club. Golf has never been an inexpensive pursuit, and it can be challenging to enjoy what can amount to a frustrating day of sacrificing balls to the "gods of golf". The benefit of lessons aside, Trumbull's own municipal park, is another one of a number of CT public access facilities worth the price of admission. The design and layout offer a novice or experienced player quite a few different "looks" throughtout the 18 holes. Some blind shots into the greens, with elevation, make it seem like a lot longer carry than most would prefer. Anyone who plays according to USGA rules and scores in the 70's here, can truly golf their ball.

"It's getting better!"
The course had been declining but 2-3 years ago a new super was brought in. The greens were in rough shape and fairways adequate. Now the greens are in great shape and the fairways in just as good a shape. There was a reconfiguration of the back nine that made it a little more challenging. Over all, the course is alot more enjoyable to play.
