This course, carved through a wooded area, is situated on gently rolling terrain. Narrow fairways and small, well-undulated greens combine to make the course play rather tight. A river and several ponds are encountered several times throughout the layout. Although the yardage is quite short, the tightness of play makes for quite a challenging round of golf.

Well designed and challenging, Jul 19, 2008

This golf course is very well designed. The undulated terrain has been made very good use of to trick a golfer about the distances and green slopes. The placement of the hazards, trees etc, is very well thought off. The narrow fairways and woody roughs are very punishing for the casual hitter; at the same time they are psychologically very rewarding, for the straight hitter. The occasional sight of a deer during play makes one feel even closer to nature in this fantastic golf course, situated in the midst of slopy terrain and dense woods. Strongly recommended!

"Good course for the money."
Played this course a couple of times last visit to area. Was always use to paying $70 plus at other courses. Was surprised and enjoyed this course. It just goes to show that you don't have to spend big bucks to enjoy a round of golf. Will be playing this course again when I come down this spring.

"Challenging par 3 course"
My index was a 10 when I played this course in March 2003 and it kicked my butt. You're shooting up to greens sometimes and down other times and most of the time there isn't much room for error as I learned by losing a couple of balls by mis-clubbing. I played the course twice around to get in a full 18 and ended up 13 over by the end. It was fun and more than I expected from a course this size. My only gripe would be that the greens were not as smooth as they could have been. It's cheap and you can play it quick in 1.5 hours. Give it a shot!!

"Tough back nine"
The front nine is pretty straight forward, added soem distance in the last five years or so, so the couse is well over 6000 yards. Impecibly upkept, tough greens. The back nine is TOUGH more than one carry over water of over a hundred yards, elevetad greens, hilly fairways. very hard to get a flat lie on the back nine. Bring your patience to play here
