This course is unique in that it is situated on both sides of Highway 101. Holes #2 through #8 are located on one side, the other eleven on the opposite side. Continuing in this eclectic spirit, the diversity does not stop there. The front nine occupies hilly terrain, replete with mature oaks, while the open, links-style layout of the back nine allows the prevailing winds to come into play. Construction on an additional eighteen hole course is scheduled to begin in 2000.

| I couldn't recommend this course to anyone without feeling guilty. Me and the wife checked it out and the staff was snobby. Instead of giving us hospitality we recieved constant boast about the course designer (Jack N), the 2 week waiting list for tee times, and their dress code which by the way is a lot more then shown here. They accept golf attire only (pants and collars), no shorts or denim. We've played Spyglass and Pebble Beach and not found this attitude. I certainly didn't expect it from folks at a piece of crap course like Coyote Creek. Save your money and play a course that's more then talk. |
