Take a pass on Longwood, Aug 10, 2010
reviewer: Kevin N. from Tinley Park, IL
Played Longwood yesterday 8-9-10 and the course was in very poor shape. The tee boxes were full of weeds and not marked. The fairways were under repair with not much being done. The greens were ok on the front nine, but the back nine were full of mud and dirt. The ball washer water had not been changed for some time and smell like vomit. You couldn't even wash you ball. Take a pass on this course not much value for $30 bucks.

Nice course, but I prefer Lincoln Oaks, Balmoral Woods, Glenwoodie.

easy...to get aggrevated, Jul 05, 2008

I played golf for my high school and this was our home course, playing it for a while you get to know the course and where not to be. There are a couple holes where you can let it rip and not be too worried about where it goes, but for the most part control, not distance will keep your scores low..

The name says it all. you can get out of trouble for the most part but the par 4's are quite long. Greens could be a little faster.
