This course is located on flat terrain within the Cumberland Mountain State Park. The course is generally open, with the exception of a couple of holes on the front and back nines weaving through a small wooded area. Water affects eight holes in the form of a meandering creek. The signature hole is #7, a 393-yard, par 4, which features a green nestled atop a bed of flagstone.

| I have played 3 of the 5 Nicklaus courses in Tennessee and this is my favorite so far. There are some very challenging golf holes. Jack seems to love sand traps, so beware. Course is usually in excellent condition. |
