According to the locals, this is a "must play" course. Hole #5 has an island green and was rated in the top ten for difficulty by the "Columbus Dispatch." This course is only two years old, built on somewhat hilly terrain, the tree-lined fairways are narrow to medium in size. Water hazards come into play on twelve holes. The greens are small, undulating and have medium speed.

A great little public course that offers a nice challenge with the greens. Great for a public course it just needs flatter tee boxes! 4 out of 5!

"Cairo is where i spend my spring break!!"
Cairo country club offers 18 holes of challenging golf. employees at the club are as generous and courteous as they come. the tree lined fairways call for consistent accuracy off the tee and some strategically placed fairway bunkers make the tee shot a placement factor. bermuda green that are well manacured. my buddy adam schuster says "its good" and my other buddy adam scott says its "da shizzle" the course really flows together throughout the 18 holes and the practice range provides a great area for preparing for the beginning of a round or fine tuning the game.

"Declining conditions"
Having played this course over the last ten years, I can't help but be dismayed by the declining conditions. It is a classic course that was consistently enjoyable until the last two years. In this time, the course condition, length of rounds and restaurant amenities have all gone downhill. I hope that they can turn this around because it is no longer worth the greens fee that they charge.
