This scenic course, located in a wooded area, was built on hilly terrain. In addition, water hazards come into play on four holes, so shot accuracy is essential. Hole #1, a 401-yard, par 4, requires a tee shot from off a hill down into a valley. For the next sixteen holes, you continue playing through the valley and finally climb back up on hole #18, a 430-yard, par 4.

It gets better everyday, Apr 02, 2011 |

| I moved to this region about 1.5 years ago from Indy and I started playing this course at least3-4 times a week. The Hegan family has poured a great deal of money into upgrading every part of this course. I believe by July of 2011, Pheasant Valley will be considered a "must play golf course" in this area. By adding new tees on every hole, this course will be a delight for golfers of all ability levels to play. The change in elevation on many of the holes adds to the beauty of Pheasant Valley. |

Pheasant Valley is back!, Jul 12, 2010 |

| Kudos to the new owners for the work they have done to 'The Valley' and bringing it back to the same great conditions as when Tom Watson played his round out here. I encourage everyone who has stayed away from playing out here for the last several years to go back and once again enjoy a great round of golf. For those that never played Pheasant Valley before, go out and give it a try and see if you can resist going back for another challenging round. The parking lot and clubhouse still leave a lot to be desired, but the bar and restaurant are very nice. |

| Both of the above reviews are correct. Ed, Lee, and Kevin Naum would all be turning in their graves if they saw the condition of this place after the fall of 2008. Fortunately the new owners are long time local golf course owners. One of the sons was a golfing member at Pheasant Valley for many years and knows a lot about the course and it's history. The clean up for the last month has been extensive. The clean up of the restaurant has also been extensive. The course should be opening by late June 2009 and hopefully it will some day in the near future return to it's glory days. It will take time for all of the washed out areas to grow back from the reseeding. It will also take time to renovate the tees, traps, fairways, roughs, cart paths, parking lot, and banquet facilities but hopefully people understand the situation. This is a spectacular plot of land for a golf course that deteriorated due to neglect. The new owners have the knowledge and the resources to revitalize the place. |

| New owners coming in Winter/Spring 08'. Have been doing renovations and fixing this place up. Very cheap prices for what this place is going to look like this season. |

| That this course has become so run down. The original owner must be spinning in his grave. The current owners should be ashamed of themselves. |
