This tree-lined course has water hazards coming into play on two holes. In addition, sand bunkers have been incorporated into the design of six other holes. Hole #5, a 323-yard, par 4, has a big Red oak tree in the middle of its fairway. All the greens are large, and the fairways are wide open. The signature hole is #8, a 324-yard, par 4, requiring a perfectly-placed tee shot up a sharp dogleg left fairway. This course is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Whispering Pines Golf Club
"Childhood Hole in One"
I got my hole-one-on the par-3 7th. Its the kind of hole that it could happen any day to any of us. And hey, thats gotta be worth something!!! The green is two tiered and the top tier is hard to stay on, the ball likes to role down to the bottom, always where the pin is. You tee off from above, the hole is about 120 yrds I think. So, get it on the green, watch it role and you've got yourself a chance my friend! Overall, the course is a 9 holer and its fun. Golf period...is fun, come on right.

La Vista Golf Course

The new name for La Vista Golf Course in Wichita Falls, Texas is HAWK RIDGE GOLF COURSE. This course has undergone extensive improvements the last year and one half. The improvements made have made this into one of the best courses in this area. While I rated it as 3 stars, it could very well be on its way to being rated much higher. Waverly Oaks Golf Club - The Championship Course
"Great Day"
I played this course in July 2004 after playing two other near by Plymouth courses. It was a great day of golf. The course is challenging but fair. The greens were in perfect shape and the fairs as well.
