This well-manicured course is located in a country setting. Spanning more than 100 acres, the layout is generally flat, with only a couple of holes featuring elevation changes. The fairways are open and drainage on the course is superb. Ownership set out to, and achieved, its goal to make this the "driest course in the area." The signature hole is #5, a 358-yard, par 4, which features a slight dogleg fairway, which veers around a lake that dominates two-thirds of the fairway. The green is set back in a grouping of trees.

| I enjoy the course. It is a young course and the trees are not grown, so play is relatively easy with wide fairways and closely mowed rough. Several water hazards (#3,#4,and#6) if you tend to slice the drives. No 1 has a creek about 280 yards from the middle tee. You cross back over the creek on # 9. Greens are ok with some slight undulations which can be trickey. The 9th hole is uphill which is a hard walk after playing 8 holes. The owners are adding another 9 holes which will be playable in the summer of 2005. Course description is based on the old layout as far as the signature hole is concerned. The fellows working the pro shop are friendly and helpful. In the Summer, the Men's Club plays every Tuesday with Tee times around 0900 and 1300. |
