The best feature of this course are the greens. The fairways leave much to be desired. Slightly rocky with alot of weeds.They would'nt be so bad if they were mowed more regularly.At times its hard to find your ball on the fairway.Overall, the course is getting better as time passes.The reason I give this course 2 stars is the greens. They are beautiful and the layout is nice.

Cold Springs Golf & Country Club
"Customer Service, can make a day."
I recently went and played the small country club in eastern California, at the end of the summer. The Pro Keith Rader was extremely kind helping me find the place. The staff appeared to be a little grungy when I got there Larry a staff employee, while not the best looking gentleman was one of the nicest people there. The assistant a tall, upbeat young man always smileing had a few good pointers for my golf game. Though I don't remember his name I am sure we will see him further his golf career, he really seemed to know his stuff. Thanks to Cold Springs, and what an enjoyable day

Not a bad course considering its location and market. Bent greens are some of the best I've played, and putting them are as true as carpet. Fairways are nice, but work is needed in and around the fairway rough. There are no signs from finishing green to the next tee. This was extremely confusing after #1 (There are three tee boxes within 40 feet of #1 green.), so pay close attention to your course layout map on your scorecard. The laid-back atmosphere was extremely nice. There was little to no pressure from anyone, and everyone I meet was very nice and courteous. Overall I give the course a 4 out of 5, and the hospitality a 5 out of 5. I also can say this course will challenge you, so carry every club in your bag.
