This old, traditional course was built upon rolling terrain, so expect some uneven lies. The fairways range in width from narrow to wide. A meandering river flows through a couple of holes. This club only offers senior discounts on Thursday. However, everyone can take advantage of the Monday discount rate. Tee times are only reserved for weekends.

Nice layout tough greens. Water comes into play on 3 holes( 2 being over the river. Very reasonably priced year round.

I had played rounds at this course back in the early 1990's and it was terrible. A couple of years ago I tried it again. Much to my satisfaction the course was great. This course has really turned around. It is kept very well and offers a good challenge.

Redstone Golf Course - Hillside/Meadowview Course
"The Arsenal Courses"
Hillside and Meadowview are generally better than Whispering Pines. Each nine has its own character. Hillside was renovated in 2001. For the low price the courses are pretty good. The fairways are pretty wide, some, but not a lot of trouble, although there are a few very challenging holes on each nine. The ninth on Hillside used to be a par four, so its fun for us duffers to play a par five that we can reach in two evry once in a while. The ninth on Meadowview requires a good drive over water, # 7 is a 192 par three with a green that is not very deep but very wide.The course is kept in pretty good condition yearround. Not much water or sand.
