This old, traditional-style course is always kept in immaculate condition. The tree-lined fairways are narrow, and the greens are fast. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 5th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 6th best for 1997-98.

Absolutely Amazing, Sep 18, 2007 |

| An absolutely incredible course, couldn't be any better. The club house is newly done and looks great and the staff is helpful and hospitable. The course is amazingly designed and could not be more scenic. My favorite holes were hole one along the lake, hole six (dogleg left) and hole number 9, a stunning par 3 onto an island green. |

Wondeful Woodway, Jul 10, 2006 |

| Woodway is a masterful yet graceful course tucked away in residential darien. While challanging enough for the most experianced golfers, it also has the most beautiful landscape of any Northeastern golf course. The staff is excellent especially the bar tender in the mens club house, Rens. In my prefessional opinion, Woodway is easily the best course in Connecticut. The started Kevin is also especially nice as well. He will assist you and take care of any needs you should have. Overall, a bonifide golfing experiance. |

Great Course, Jun 06, 2006 |

| It was a fantastic experience. The course is absolutely beautiful. Hole 9 was amazing, a par 3 over a pond onto a small green. The green was fast and difficult. Also, hole 6 was quite a challenge, an uphill dogleg left. There is an awesome clubhouse with a nice snackbar that was run very well. By the way, the hotdogs are great. Everything about the course great except for the starter who was a bit abnoxious and mean. |

| Woodway, is the course to play in Fairfield county... if you can get out. The staff is great, and the course is second to none. This is a real North East "old" course. Make sure you say Hello to kevin when on the first tee box. |

| In my opinion this is one of the most impressive courses in the state. The grounds are manicured and meticulously maintained, with beautiful grounds, flowers and trees. They obviously spend a lot of time and money to keep it in fantastic condition. Some great holes and a lot of different looks, from par three's over water to long uphill dogleg par fours that create a real challange. They also have a new clubhouse that is spacious and beautiful. If you get the chance to play here, take advantage of it. |
