This facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. These two courses are referred to as the outside course (the Hills Course) and the inside course (the Dales Course). Neither course has any water hazards, but the fairways are moderately narrow because of the numerous mature trees originally planted around the turn of the century. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on both courses. The ladies' par for the Hills Course is actually 75.

Nice place to golf, Jun 24, 2004

I play this course at least once a week, usually the inside course since I'm in a ladies golf league. There are water hazards and the women do not tee off the same place as the men, so the description is a bit off. It's a nice place to golf with mature trees and rolling hills.

Community golf was closed and redesigned nearly 5 years ago. As of 3/04 there are several holes at which water comes into play. The fairways are narrow and sloping.

Both outside and inside courses are great values.

The 19th hole is ample and can provide food and beverave for your outing.

If you are looking for a golf value, try out community. $24 for 18 is a great deal for a great little course.

"YARDAGE DIFFERENCE"
I enjoyed playing this course. The black tees are a little long for me at 6400 yards and the gold tees are to short at 5500 yards. I think they should make the gold tees at least 6000 yards.The course is tight but fair. At 5500 yards leave your driver at home.

I've had the pleasure of playing many a round at Oak Ridge. It is a very fair, yet demanding layout. The large bent greens give the flexibility of playing medium, fast or very fast, depending on the tourament or the time of season. Landing areas for most tee balls are generous. Accuracy is a priority on approaches, but not many instances of jail on missed greens. The 5 hard par 3's require your focus in order to score. A very fun course if you are on your game.
