This target course is unlike usual Florida courses, Deer Creek's rolling hills and steep dramatic bunkers provide settings like those of top northern courses. The signature hole is #18, a 423-yard, par 4, which looks over the water to the $5 million sprawling, Key West-style clubhouse. All of the greens, tees, and fairways have been overseeded to give the grass a vibrant green, striping effect. Many film and golf celebrities play this course, which was redesigned by Arthur Hills in 1993.

| This is one of my favorite courses in south Florida, but is entirely to expensive. Play this course at twilight its worth it then. |

| The layout for a south florida course is certainly atypical. Rolling terrains, hills and valleys. many "blind" shots. The staff is perhaps the friendliest ever. I found the gps system on the cart to be wrong too many times to count. The greens are like bricks and don't hold any shots. Give this place another year to mature and you've got yourself a great test. |
